FAQs of virgin machine weft

Q: Is machine weft better than hand tied?

A: Machine wefts are typically more durable than hand-tied wefts. Because of their manufacturing, machine wefts can be sized and cut according to your client's head, where hand-tied extensions cannot. Machine wefts also provide more thickness with fewer wefts due to their density.

Q: How long do machine weft extensions last?

A: Once the weft hair extensions are in place, they can last up to a year before being taken out. Although, depending on how quickly your hair grows, the extensions will need to be moved up every 6-8 weeks.

Q: Are machine wefts good for thin hair?

A: Machine wefts are a great choice for those who want thick, voluminous hair. If you have thin or fine hair, hand tied extensions may be a better option for you. Machine wefts can be less expensive than hand tied extensions, making them a great choice for those on a budget.

Q: How many times can you reuse weft extensions?

A: You can reuse pre bonded hair extensions every 2.5-3 months. We have already mentioned that the service life of quality hair is 9-12 months. Therefore, the same strands can be reused for 3-4 reattachments.

Q: Can I swim with weft hair extensions?

A: It's OK to go swimming, of course, but don't allow extensions to soak in water for too long, and dry them as soon as you get out of the pool or ocean. LaaVoo recommends rough-drying the bonded areas every time they get wet to help extensions last longer. You can let the rest of the hair air-dry.
