FAQs of Flat Weft

Q: How long do flat weft hair extensions last?
A: With good and proper care, the flat weft hair extensions can last up to a year. You can extend its longevity by not washing it as often as your natural hair.

Q: Can you cut flat weft?
A: Since the silk material is so thin and flexible, it can be cut and shaped to fit your head perfectly, which means that you can achieve a seamless and natural-looking result.

Q: How often does a weft need refitting?
A: We recommend a weft or weave should be re-fit every 8 to 10 weeks. Removal and re-application of the rings should be completed with any ring style fitting, as 'pushing up' rings may lead to a shorter life span of the fitting.

Q: How do you sleep with a weft?
A: The best way to sleep with hair extensions is to put your hair together in a loose ponytail or braid and secure it with a silk scrunchie. Ideally, you should rest your head on a silk pillowcase as well.

Q: How do I choose the right thickness of hair extensions?
A: For fine to medium hair, 100 to 125 grams of hair extensions will do the job, with medium to thick hair looking at around 125 to 175 grams. If you have very thick hair, around 150 to 200 grams will be necessary for adding up to 12 inches in length.
