There is currently no vaccine to prevent coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). The best way to prevent illness is to avoid being exposed to this virus.
Knowing How it Spreads
Between people who are in close contact with one another (within about 6 feet).
Through respiratory droplets product. These droplets can land in the mouths or noses of people who are nearby or possibly inhaled into the lungs.
It's important that the covid-19 has latency. One infected won't feel sick in the first one-two weeks, but they can share viruses with others at this time. So please be careful when you face a friend that you don't know where she has gone.
Please protect yourself
1. We need to wash our hands frequently.Virus droplets and objects touched by those with the virus are likely to touch our hands. If we touch our mouths, nose, eyes, etc. with our hands, the germs will enter our bodies. It's dangerous. So don't touch your mouth, nosed and eyes before washing.
Ways to wash: Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after you have been in a public place, or after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing.
If soap and water are not readily available, use a hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol. Cover all surfaces of your hands and rub them together until they feel dry.
2. Stop handshakes, hugs, kisses. Stay away with others, this is to protect all of you.
Don't approach other people up close in public, especially face to face. Put distance between yourself and other people if COVID-19 is spreading in your community. This is especially important for people who are at higher risk of getting very sick.
Sneeze into your elbow. When talking to someone, the respiratory droplets can cover a range of about one meter in front of you. When coughs or sneezes, they can reach out to 8 meters. It's too far away. So please keep distance with each other for at least 1 meter when facing strangers.
3. Protect yourself and others outside the room.
If you still need to go outside for a short time, Please keep away from other people, don't talk face to face or get too close.
Avoid crowded places which have higher risks of getting viruses.
4.Stay at home if you are sick.
If you have a fever, cough and difficulty breathing, please seek medical attention and call in advance. Follow the directions of your local health authority. You should wear a facemask when you are around other people (e.g., sharing a room or vehicle) and before you enter a healthcare provider's office.
5.Clean and disinfectClean AND disinfect frequently touched surfaces daily. This includes tables, doorknobs, light switches, countertops, handles, desks, phones, keyboards, toilets, faucets, and sinks.
If surfaces are dirty, clean them: Use detergent or soap and water prior to disinfection. The most common EPA-registered household disinfectants will work.
