How to use hair extensions.

u-tip/Flat Tip:

How to Apply

1) Star sectioning client's hair from bottom to top.

2) Take on strand of client's hair and insert a template to the root to protect scalp from heat.

3) Place keratin tip hair under

4) Place fusion tool under hair and pinch smoothing for about 3-5 seconds to melt and smear glue into every hair strand.

5) Roll fused part with fingers and try to close tightly.

 

Removing Steps:

1) Apply few drops of remover on glued part.

2) Use pliers and pinch to break the glue part.

3) Separate keratin tip hair from client's hair. Use comb or shampoo to remove glue residue.

Flip in:

1. Place the hair extensions with the wire sitting behind the line. Gently push down to fit over the ears and sit the base of the skull.
2. Either split the hair aroundthe ears or leave over the top as pictured
3. Pull your own hair over the hair extension to completely hide the wire and enjoy beautiful. Longer、fuller hair in just minutes.

Tape:

1.Wash Your Hair: Wash and dry your hair completely before starting.
2.Gather a Section of Your Hair: This section of hair is going to be sandwiched between two extensions. It's important that the adhesive "tape" on the top extension touches that of the bottom extension, so that the two stick together.
3.Attach Extension: Make two extensions strips are glued together with a part of your own hair in between them. Please notice that don't put the wefts too close to the edges of your scalp.
4. Be sure to seal the tape with a flat iron for maximum adherence.
Hair Care and Styling with Extensions:

1. Long hair always requires more care than short hair.
2. You need to take care of your extension hair as you would of your own long hair, brush your hair several times a day from roots to ends using a large-tooth comb.
3. When shampooing your hair, avoid using a circular motion or twisting motion while lathering to keep knots and tangles from forming.
4. Deep conditioning your hair is recommended and will help in its manageability.
5. Styling your extensions is easy with a little extra attention in your daily routine. Your extension specialist should recommend a professional grade shampoo and conditioner to use.
6. When blow drying be careful not to set the blow dryer too hot, and to keep it at a distance of at least 20cm (8 inches). Extreme heat can damage or dry out your extension hair.
7. Tie your hair or put it in a braid before you go to sleep. This is how you avoid tangles with your extension hair.

 

Clip

Step one: Layout the rows of extensions in order that they will be positioned in your hair. Always start at the bottom of your head.

Step two: Preparing your natural hair is the most important step before you begin applying clip in hair extensions. This helps to ensure they are undetectable. This may mean blow drying your hair to give it some volume, and straightening the ends so there is no obvious separation between the end of your natural hair and your extensions.

Step three: Start at the bottom, segment a section of your hair and use sectioning clips to part it. Tease your hair along the root and clip in your first row.

Step four: Continue this method of separating your hair in a line and teasing it at the root for grip row by row.

Step five: The x2 rows of 2 clips are to be placed on either side of your head a couple of centimetres about your ears. The individual clips are to be placed at the front to balance out any layers you have in your natural hair.

Step six: Style to taste. Remember to use a low heat blow dry and ceramic straightener on your human hair extensions.

Application Process:

1) Twist a small piece of your own hair for attaching the hair extensions.

2) Let this small piece of your own hair go through the plastic loop.

3) Hold the micro ring and pull the big end of the plastic loop until your own piece of hair can go through the micro ring. At this moment, the plastic loop should be completely free from the micro ring and hair extensions.

4) Pull the micro ring up to about 0.8cm to 1cm from scalp.

5) Grip the micro ring by pliers and the hair extensions is now firmly applied on.

Warm Tips

1. Always leave at least 1 cm between your scalp and if the bead is placed to high this can cause discomfort.
2. IF hair is often worn up avoid putting the hair extensions to close to the hairline.
3. Make sure there is enough of you natural hair to cover the extensions.
4. Do not place the extensions to high on the head.
5. It is best to try and find the right color first as these hair extensions are easier to darken rather than lighten.
6. When curling and straightening set your appliance to a low temperature

Micro

1. Carve off a small section with your bead loader.
2. Pull the hair into the bead loader.
3. Slide a nano tube onto the natural hair.
4. Insert the nano tipped hair into the tube on the underside of the naturalhair.
5. Crimp the tube into place using your closing tool.
6. Make sure your bond has full rotation with no cross hairs.
7. Repeat the process until you reach your desired style.

Warm Tips

Avoid getting your hair wet in swimming pools as the chlorine content in the water will also damage hair extensions, causing matting and discolouration.

You could curl the hair but never apply heat to the extension over 180 Degrees Celsius.

Wash your hair 2-3 times a week with aftercare products. Excess washing and styling will damage the cuticle and decrease the lifespan of your hair extensions. It is better to let your hair dry naturally and DO NOT brush the extension hair when wet.

We don’t recommend colour on hair extensions; any colouring of extensions is done entirely at your own risk.
